ENRICHMENT WEEK - Monday 8th February - Friday 12th February

GREWELTHORPE GOES GREEN

During the week the children will be learning about sustainability, recycling, fair trade and other global issues.

We have organized a variety of visitors to come into school and have many exciting projects for the children to complete.

We would like to organise a walking bus as a trial during this week if there is sufficient interest.

Please let the office know if your child would like to take part.

 

CRUCIAL CREW

Monday 1st March

Years 5 & 6 are going on a trip to Crucial Crew at Deverall Barracks Ripon, where they will see different workshops from the following organisations.North Yorkshire Police,Ministry Of Defence Police,Harrogate Health Care Trust,North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue, St John's Ambulance, NYCC Road Safety to name but a few.   

CROSS COUNTRY AT NEWBY HALL

Thursday 4th March

All the KS2 children will be taking part in the cross country being held at Newby Hall Ripon. Jogging bottoms and trainers are needed for this event.

Please ensure that you child has a warm coat and a drink with them.

CATTERICK RACECOURSE

Wednesday 10th March

All the KS2 children will be going on this trip.

The coach will leave school at 9am prompt and return at 3.30pm.

The children will need a packed lunch, warm coats and sensible shoes or if the weather has been or is wet on the day wellington boots.

YRS 3 & 4 RESIDENTIAL TRIP TO BEWERLEY PARK OUTDOOR CENTRE

Tuesday 4th - Friday 6th May

Here the Yr 3 & 4 children will enjoy many outdoor activities at the outdoor centre.
